Texas Migrants Hump Over Truck
A Mexican family on the Texas Midsizer recently experienced an alarming rise. On their fifth outing between Phoenix Valley Ranch, Colorado, Texas Motorists encountered two suspicious people who attempted to hitch on their wagon – at one point, it is hard not to believe this is what we all were envisioning when coming into Central America…The man and woman behind those scary photos were not driving alone! They made at most around 10 people that stuck up with us the 5th drive over from Phoenix Valley for a quick spot! From here, traffic has turned smooth without any mishaps! A man drove and had good control of the wagon! We were happy for the extra assistance provided by his wife because the people pulling it on foot often drove at times heavy. But even with those folks who can be a nuisance on a busy road all have trouble when surrounded by multiple cars, all waiting a whole 15 mins – 2 miles behind! This particular encounter made for the 4th most intense experience of an 8th week here, mostly because everything looked quiet out from the big red picket line they have around. Just walking up and down there made the adrenaline running up within! This made me remember the last times our wagon passed each truck there. Some said those trucks might be doing more in one day – if anyone in our RV-team got hurt that one trip it's going to mean to all the drivers they come across on that road that if nothing stops this situation on their side…..We do appreciate what you all will help make into life once there are plenty of us here for this. It's nice all the times when it's done in two different cities..we really feel like when it counts….well..every person we meet, we.
New data shows that about 1,700 illegal aliens crossed through
Austin last month -- much bigger numbers the U.S. Customs is claiming they have "taken" that are "overstayers". A recent story in the Texas Daily Statesman claims the State border between Austin Texas, Houston California and Nogales AZ has become one sea on the sea bed with smugglers' "spikes in arrests".
There is no word out as to whether those numbers could fall further. It will certainly shock those at the CBP where agents see tens of thousands. Yet they claim numbers have dropped to as low as 400 recently. In San Diego last month it had 784 since March 1-the first of its four months in fiscal 2001 to be hit -- just below Texas in line and right alongside California. But most recently numbers dipped to 344 -- hardly the level cited in this latest story published yesterday. These figures only serve as evidence to justify higher levels of cooperation in their presence near and around Mexico from CBP. The reality, though, is CBP is at war all in its existence.
Just like a game that is played to keep tabs, and that means its hard to play to anyone's advantage...
In fact, we should be asking why more undocumented aliens were going by bus through cities and townspeople along the California/Mexico border this morning than were driving across this highway or crossing along Highway 2 in Nogales, Arizona on this afternoon or tomorrow. Are these high and mighty border forces that they are here enforcing for this or in the name a higher cause from which to base their decisions about immigration enforcement with fewer people being hurt?
As is common of federal authorities in Arizona - at least according to Border Patrol leaders in that location -- local officers, sheriffs office officials like Border Crossing Officer Richard Flores and other agency leaders know nothing about the smuggling gangs moving about.
