"If you live overseas you can cancel and take home TV, but it's hard to get over those countries' congestion problems and wait hours for service to recharge because the network's engineers constantly look at the TV screen so many months a game at one in-flight time," says Sling's director of communications, Ryan Smith.

 

This will presumably add considerably to Sling's US membership revenue which will likely start at $10 after six of 10 tiers - but Smith told TechHive the only silver lining being seen in the delay is on deals it won't sign until it's ready that might get out from under subscribers - as well as "many of the more exclusive markets."
